Job Description:
A company is looking for a Complex Denial Consultant (Attorney)
to represent healthcare providers in disputes with medical
insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist recovery staff in developing legal arguments and tools for
appeals
Draft complex appeals and letters to insurance companies based on
contractual provisions
Review client contract language and utilize payer-provider manuals
to dispute denied claims
Required Qualifications
Law degree from an accredited college or university
Barred in one state or bar eligible within 6 months of
graduation
Foundational understanding of Commercial, Governmental, Managed
Care, and ERISA regulations
Experience in handling administrative appeals processes
Ability to represent clients during Administrative Law Judge
hearings as needed
