Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Data Analyst, responsible
for analyzing data and reports to improve the use of medical and
pharmacy benefit drugs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction
in medical and pharmacy benefits
Combine data from various sources to deliver actionable insights
and ensure report accuracy
Support audits and collaborate on the creation of analytical tools
and procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in statistics, public health, healthcare,
business administration, or a related field
Experience in analyzing data, preferably in pharmacy or healthcare
settings
Proficiency in data extraction and analytical programming languages
(e.g., Python, R, SQL)
Knowledge of the health insurance industry and pharmacy claims
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI,
Tableau)
